"Asking the panel of judges to sentence the defendant Fahrul Azis Siregar to seven years in prison," said the Head of the Medan District Attorney's Office, Rahmayani Amir, at the Medan District Court, North Sumatra, Wednesday, July 15, reported by ANTARA.
Rahmayani said the defendant Fahrul Azis was proven to have committed a criminal act as the cumulative indictment of the first and second cases.

The panel of judges, headed by Sulhanuddin, then adjourned the trial and scheduled a follow-up hearing on Wednesday (29/7), with the agenda of reading the verdict.
"The trial was postponed and continued for two weeks with the agenda of reading the verdict," said Sulhanuddin.
Previously, JPU Sofyan Agung Maulana accused Fahrul of burglary, theft of gold jewelry, and burning the house belonging to the Medan PN judge Khamozaro Waruwu at the Taman Harapan Indah Complex Block D-25, Sunggal District, Medan, on November 4, 2025.
In the indictment, it was stated that the defendant entered the victim's house through the garage door which was not locked after ensuring that the house was empty.
"The defendant then took the key to the house which was stored on the shoe rack and broke into the victim's room using the prepared screwdriver," he said.
After entering the room, the defendant, who is also the victim's former driver, took a number of gold jewelry belonging to Wina Falinda from the closet. Before leaving the location, the defendant burned several points in the wardrobe and bedspread using tissue and matches.
The prosecutor said the defendant sold the stolen gold to a number of gold shops in the Deli Tua area. One of the largest transactions occurred on November 12, 2025, when the defendant sold two gold bracelets weighing around 149.5 grams worth Rp. 299 million.
Based on the results of the North Sumatra Regional Police Forensic Laboratory, continued the JPU, at the location of the fire, gasoline-type fuel was found, indicating that there was an element of intentional burning.
"As a result of this act, the victim suffered material losses and then reported the incident to the Medan Police," he said.
