The defendant Sugeng was also ordered to pay compensation of Rp. 127,800,200. Meanwhile, the obligations of Yuanita and Dedy were reduced by the seizure money according to the fiscal year determined by the panel of judges.
Responding to the verdict, Head of the Jember District Prosecutor's Office, Yadyn P, said all parties involved in the decision on the sosperda case would be held criminally responsible.
"We will implement the decision of the Surabaya Corruption Court. No one is immune in the eyes of the law," he said.
Yadyn said the verdict was not over because there was a possibility of new suspects, but his party would first read the full copy of the verdict.
