TANJUNG SELOR - The Patriot Muda Training Centre (PMTC) opened a tutoring service (bimbel) for the selection of the TNI, Polri and service school in North Kalimantan (Kaltara). The presence of the institution is expected to expand access to training for the sons and daughters of the region to prepare for the selection process to become state servants.

The operation of the Kaltara PMTC was marked by the inauguration of the branch by the Governor of Kaltaeq, Zainal A. Paliwang in Tanjung Selor, Monday, July 13.

Governor Zainal said the presence of PMTC is part of efforts to strengthen human resource development through targeted education and training.

"Departing from concern for the importance of targeted coaching, this institution continues to grow with the vision of producing young generations with character, professionalism, patriotic spirit, and able to play an active role in human resource development," said Zainal.

Zainal explained that the existence of PMTC in Kaltara has strategic value because it is able to shape the character, discipline, and competence of participants to face competition in the selection of the TNI, Polri, and service schools.

"The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of North Maluku continues to strengthen synergy with education and training institutions that are oriented towards improving the quality of human resources," he said.

Meanwhile, PMTC Director, Mohammad Siswan Efandy, revealed that public interest in the program was beginning to be seen. To date, eight participants have registered at the North Kalimantan branch.

"There are already eight people who have applied for the Kaltara branch in Tanjung Selor. We will also work with several vendors to open scholarships in Kaltara," he said.

Siswan explained that the provision of scholarships is part of PMTC's commitment to opening wider opportunities for all levels of society to attend education and training.

"Our principle is equity, so that all groups can follow this learning activity and enjoy the facilities we provide," he said.

He emphasized that the high competition in the selection of the TNI, Polri, and service schools made the prospective participants need more comprehensive guidance. PMTC provides assistance ranging from academic material, Basic Competency Selection (SKD), health examination, physical fitness, psychometric, interview, to mental and ideological guidance.

"Participants in Kaltara will follow theoretical learning and physical training in Tanjung Selor. Furthermore, participants who pass the training stage will undergo intensive quarantine for three to six months in Jakarta for in-depth material, interview simulations, and preparation for health examinations," he said.

Siswan added that the branch in Tanjung Selor is the first PMTC service center in North Kalimantan and the 28th branch nationwide. In the future, the capacity of participants will be increased if the public's interest continues to increase.

As a form of commitment to participants, PMTC also offers a money back guarantee program according to the applicable terms and conditions if participants do not pass the selection.

"With the proven curriculum, learning methods, and experience, we want to provide greater opportunities for the children of North Kalimantan to compete and realize the dream of becoming servants of the state," he concluded.
