Mandatory Biodiesel B50 Saves Foreign Exchange of Rp170 Trillion, President Prabowo: Benefits for the Economy

Karawang - President Prabowo Subianto said that mandatory B50 biodiesel can save foreign exchange up to Rp170 trillion.

This was conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto when giving a speech at the Launch of B50 Biodiesel at the KM 57 Rest Area, Karawang Regency, West Java, Thursday, July 9.

President Prabowo also said that the launch of B50 biodiesel was an important milestone for national energy independence. In addition to saving foreign exchange from the energy sector, President Prabowo also revealed the great potential of the natural resources sector.

The Head of State said that the scientific expedition team involving the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), a number of universities, and supported by the TNI had just discovered gold reserves and various minerals in very large quantities in the Papua Mountains.

President Prabowo also expressed optimism about Indonesia's future. According to him, these achievements must be accompanied by the commitment of all elements of the nation to maintain the country through the eradication of corruption, smuggling, narcotics, and online gambling which have so far harmed the country and society.
