JAKARTA - The Head of the TNI Headquarters Information Center, General TNI Muhamad Nas, said that the presence of TNI personnel to guard the house of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah was a request from the Attorney General's Office.

"The security was carried out at the request of the prosecutor's institution and has been coordinated in accordance with the applicable mechanisms and provisions, as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 66 of 2025 concerning protection for prosecutors in carrying out their duties," Nas said, as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 9.

Nas said the security was not related to the ongoing legal cases involving the Attorney General's Office and the National Police.

He also ensured that the presence of the TNI would not hinder the legal process being handled by the National Police.

"Regarding information about the search by the National Police at a number of locations, this is a different process and is the authority of the National Police," he said.

For your information, Febrie Adriansyah's house in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, is guarded by dozens of TNI personnel (8/7). From Antara's observation, the access road in front of Febrie's house has been closed by a road barrier and filled with mini bus cars belonging to the police.
