JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas on Friday, June 26, will be dominated by sunny to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius. The relatively sunny weather is expected to support community activities, although cloud cover can still increase in the afternoon in some areas.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be sunny from morning to afternoon. The air temperature ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of around 43-94 percent. Central Jakarta is expected to have a temperature of 25-34 degrees Celsius, West Jakarta 24-33 degrees Celsius, North Jakarta 25-32 degrees Celsius, while South Jakarta and East Jakarta reach a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience sunny cloudy weather with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 31 degrees Celsius. The relatively cool air condition is still felt in the Puncak, Cisarua, and southern Bogor Regency areas, especially in the morning and evening.

In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be sunny with a temperature of 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are also expected in Tangerang with a temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi is predicted to be one of the hottest areas in Jabodetabek with an air temperature of 34 degrees Celsius during the day.

BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids while outdoors, especially during the day when the air temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius. The use of protection from direct sunlight, such as hats, umbrellas, or sunscreen, is also recommended to reduce the risk of dehydration and excessive exposure to heat.

In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Friday is expected to be quite conducive for office activities, travel, and outdoor activities.
