JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has revealed alleged irregularities in a number of procurement of goods and services at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) which is suspected to involve the former Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana (DH).

Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, said that in addition to being related to the alleged practice of buying and selling the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), Dadan was also suspected of being involved in irregularities in the procurement process of goods and services in the BGN environment.

"In addition to using the affiliated foundation, Brother DH together with Brother SS and Brother LP in carrying out the procurement process of goods and services at BGN in violation of the law, intervened with the PPK, so that in the preparation of the KAK procurement of goods and services at BGN was not prepared according to the actual needs in the field and there was a mark up of the procurement price," said Syarief to the media at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

According to Syarief, the alleged irregularities resulted in state financial losses in the procurement of a number of goods supporting the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

Some of the procurements that are the object of investigation include the procurement of 21,801 electric motor units with a value of around Rp1 trillion. In addition, there are procurements of 32,000 pairs of shoes that are suspected to be not in accordance with the provisions and contain elements of price mark-up.

"One, the procurement of 21,801 electric motorcycles with a total procurement of around Rp1 trillion. The procurement of 32,000 pairs of shoes that do not comply with the provisions and there are," he said.

In addition, investigators also found alleged irregularities in the procurement of more than 31,000 tablet units and the procurement of 5,400 75-inch television units that were said to be not in accordance with the provisions and were allegedly inflated in price.

Syarief stated that based on the results of the investigation, the actions of the suspects were suspected of having caused financial losses to the state.

"That the case has resulted in financial losses to the state," he said.

For their actions, the suspects are suspected of violating Articles 603 and 604 in conjunction with Article 20 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP), as well as other provisions related to corruption.

"The suspects are currently being detained for the next 20 days at the Salemba Branch Detention Center of the Attorney General's Office and the Salemba Branch Detention Center of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office," he concluded.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) investigators conducted a search at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office in Jakarta on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. This step attracted public attention because it took place a day after President Prabowo Subianto made a leadership change at the agency.

"The investigators of the Attorney General's Office have indeed carried out a search at the BGN office," he said.

Dadan Hindayana was then named a suspect in the alleged corruption case of the sale and purchase of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) point, Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

The determination of the suspect was made after investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dittipidsus) of the Attorney General's Office conducted a series of investigations, including a search at the BGN office in the Kebon Sirih area, Central Jakarta.

After undergoing an examination, Dadan was immediately taken by the Jampidsus investigators wearing a pink prisoner vest typical of the Attorney General's Office.
