JAKARTA - PT Jakarta OSES Energi (PT JOE), a subsidiary of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), strengthens the management of the 10 percent participating interest (PI) of the oil and gas sector by partnering with the Association of Regions Producing Oil and Renewable Energy (ADPMET).

The cooperation was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the implementation of the Indonesia Petroleum Association Convention & Exhibition (IPA Convex) 2026 at ICE BSD City, South Tangerang.

The signing was carried out by the Director of PT JOE Astar Simorangkir together with the Secretary General of ADPMET Andang Bachtiar.

The collaboration is aimed at strengthening the capacity of regional companies that manage 10 percent of PI, as well as building governance which is considered to be a challenge in a number of oil and gas producing areas.

Director of PT JOE Astar Simorangkir said that synergy between PI management is needed so that regional companies not only function as beneficiaries of the oil and gas industry, but are also able to strengthen their contribution to regional development and national energy resilience.

Through this cooperation, PT JOE and ADPMET will focus on strengthening human resources, improving PI governance by 10 percent, developing networks between PI managers in various regions, to increasing understanding related to the management of participating interest.

Beyond the institutional strengthening agenda, PT JOE also utilizes IPA Convex 2026 to showcase the social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programs run by the company in the Thousand Islands, especially Sabira Island.

The program is part of PT JOE's mandate as the manager of the 10 percent PI SES Working Area in DKI Jakarta.

A number of programs presented include support for local MSMEs, public health services such as mass circumcision, the development of basic facilities, to waste management and marine environment conservation programs.

The presence of residents of Sabira Island in the forum also became a highlight. The head of RT 04 Sabira Island Siti Fatimah and the secretary of RT 01 Sabira Island Rohaenah were also present to bring the products of the binaan UMKM to be introduced to visitors to IPA Convex 2026.

PT JOE considers the direct involvement of the community to be an important part so that the TJSL program does not stop at ceremonial activities, but actually opens up economic access for the community.
