JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that on Friday, May 22 afternoon and evening, the DKI Jakarta area will be hit by light rain.

Information uploaded by BMKG on the official Instagram account, quoted by Antara Jakarta, Friday morning, said that the DKI area, which includes West Jakarta, East Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta and Thousand Islands Regency, in the morning is predicted to be cloudy to cloudy.

Cloudy sunny weather in Jakarta continues until Friday afternoon, with air temperatures ranging from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

In the afternoon, all of Jakarta will be hit by moderate to heavy rain, except for the Thousand Islands Regency which will be covered in thick clouds.

On Friday evening, rain still persisted in all areas of DKI Jakarta, while for the middle of the night, the average was thick clouds.

It is known that light-intensity rain lowers the water by less than 1-5 mm (millimeters) per hour, while moderate rain brings 5-10 mm of water per hour.

On the same day, the wind speed in five regions ranged from 3-6 kilometers per hour, with air temperatures ranging from a low of 25 and a high of 33 degrees Celsius.
