Arriving in Jakarta, the Indonesian-Japanese Minister of Defense continues to discuss defense cooperation.

JAKARTA - The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and the Japanese Minister of Defense Shinjiro Koizumi have been in Jakarta, Monday, to hold a follow-up meeting of the Defence Minister Meeting or meeting between the Ministers of Defence.

This meeting was a follow-up activity carried out by Sjafrie and Shinjiro after the two met in Bali on Sunday, May 3.

From Antara's observation at Halim Perdanakusuma, Sjafrie and Shinjiro arrived at around 09.49 WIB using the same plane.

Sjafrie was seen wearing a cream-colored suit and Shinjiro wearing a black suit. The two were greeted by a line of honor guards and several TNI officials.

Sjafrie and Shinjiro then departed for the Ministry of Defense in Central Jakarta to hold a closed meeting, which will be followed by the signing of a cooperation contract between Indonesia and Japan in the field of defense.

Sjafrie and Shinjiro previously held a meeting wrapped up with a dinner together at The Mulia Hotel, Bali.

The meeting was used by Sjafrie and Shinjiro to strengthen the partnership and good relations that have been established between Indonesia and Japan.

Both Sjafrie and Shinjiro appreciated the defense cooperation that had previously been established between Indonesia and Japan.

Both of them hope that the momentum of this dinner can further strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Japan.
