The findings began with a report from the public regarding a suspicious object on Pasir Putih Beach, Kahuripan, East Lombi Village, Gedugan Village, Giligenting District, Sumenep Regency, Monday (13/4) afternoon.
Following up on the report, members of the Giligenting Sector Police (Polsek) from the Sumenep Police (Polres) conducted an investigation at the crime scene (TKP) at around 16.15 WIB.
Officers found 23 plastic bags labeled "BUGATTI" suspected of containing narcotics.
A total of nine packages were in a gray tarpaulin bag, while 14 others were scattered around the location.
All the evidence was then secured and handed over to the Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Sumenep Police for further investigation and investigation.
Of the total 23 packages, 22 packages were confirmed to contain cocaine based on the laboratory test of the Forensic Laboratory of the East Java Police, while the other package was empty.
