Former BPN Official Sentenced to 1.5 Years in Prison for Pecatu Lobar Land Corruption Case

MATARAM - The prosecutor in his request asked the panel of judges to impose a sentence of 1.5 years in prison on the former official of the National Land Agency (BPN) West Lombok (Lobar), West Nusa Tenggara, Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria in the corruption case for the sale of pecatu land.

"Demanding that the panel of judges impose a sentence of imprisonment on Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria with a sentence of imprisonment for one year and six months (1.5 years)," said Vikran Fasyadhiyaksa Putra Yuniar representing the public prosecutor's team read the material of the Baiw Mahyuniati Fitria's indictment before the Corruption Court Panel of Judges at the Mataram District Court, Monday, 13 April, reported by ANTARA.

The prosecutor in the demand material also asked the panel of judges to pay a fine of Rp. 50 million subsider three months in lieu of imprisonment.

"Also ask the panel of judges to keep the defendant in custody," he said.

In addition to demanding Baiq Mahyuniati, the prosecutor also read out the demands for other defendants, namely the former Head of Bagik Village, Polak Amir Amraen Putra.

The prosecutor in the defendant Amir Amraen Putra's plea material asked the panel of judges to impose a sentence of two years in prison.

In the demand, the prosecutor also asked that the defendant pay a fine of Rp50 million and a substitute imprisonment of three months.

The prosecutor in the indictment stated that the two defendants had been proven to have violated the sub-charge related to Article 3 of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. 1.

The sale of the pecatu land occurred in 2018. The location of the object with an area of 3,757 square meters is in Subak Karang Bucu, Bagik Polak Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency.

At that time, the defendant Amir as the village head applied for a certificate for the land to BPN West Lombok.

Based on the request, BPN West Lombok carried out verification and accepted the defendant's request until the Certificate of Ownership (SHM) Number 02669 was issued in the defendant's name.

The emergence of the certificate has an impact on the rejection of the community by carrying out a demonstration at the West Lombok BPN office.

Furthermore, a civil lawsuit engineering to the Mataram District Court (PN) emerged. The lawsuit engineering emerged from an heir with the initials IWB who sued Amir. BPN also acted as a co-defendant.

At the trial, the defendant Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria, who represented BPN West Lombok in the lawsuit, deliberately did not attend, so that the civil case had the legal consequence of the lawsuit being rejected.

The lawsuit is allegedly a form of a conspiracy by the two defendants to be able to control the pecatu land which has been recorded in the West Lombok Regency Government.
