Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the North Sumatra Regional Prosecutor's Office, Rizaldi, said the search was carried out after the Pidsus investigation team conducted a series of investigations into the land procurement project along 25.441 kilometers with a budget value of IDR 1.17 trillion in the 2016 fiscal year.

"The search was carried out based on a permit from the Corruption Court at the Medan District Court," said Rizaldi as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 9.

He said the two locations that were searched were the North Sumatra Provincial BPN Office on Jalan Brigjen Katamso and the Medan City Land Office on Jalan STM, Sitirejo Village, Medan Amplas.

Furthermore, the investigation team conducted an examination in a number of rooms, ranging from the land procurement work area, staff room, to the archive warehouse related to land procurement documents.

In addition, investigators also examined a number of documents at the Medan City Land Office which were suspected to be related to the case.

From the results of the temporary search, the investigation team has secured a number of documents to be analyzed further.
