2026 Lebaran Homecoming Smooth, Government Grateful for Satisfied Society

Jakarta - The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi is grateful that the public is satisfied with the implementation of the 2026 Lebaran Homecoming.

He expressed his appreciation to all ministries and agencies for the high public satisfaction. According to him, both the outgoing and returning Lebaran traffic this year were relatively orderly and smooth.

This was conveyed by Prasetyo at the State Palace Complex, Wednesday, April 8. Prasetyo stated that there were still some notes about the 2026 Lebaran homecoming journey. These various notes will be improvements for the government in the years to come.

According to the Indonesian Political Indicator survey, the public satisfaction level with the government's Lebaran homecoming was 85.3 percent. Meanwhile, according to the KedaiKopi survey, the public satisfaction level reached 88.8 percent.

According to data from the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), the total number of public transportation passengers during the 2026 Lebaran Transportation period reached 23.54 million people, an increase of 10.87% compared to the same period last year. Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi stated that the increase occurred in all modes of transportation.

The details are that the road transport mode has 3.89 million passengers, an increase of 11.64% compared to 2025, namely 3.49 million passengers.

The sea transport mode with 2.02 million passengers, experienced an increase of 9.86% compared to 2025, namely 1.84 million passengers. Then the air transport mode with 4.77 million passengers, experienced an increase of 6.97% compared to 2025, namely 4.47 million passengers.

The train mode, which carried 6.64 million passengers in 2025, increased by 10.13% to 7.14 million passengers. And the ferry mode, which carried 4.79 million passengers in 2025, increased by 15.36% to 5.52 million passengers.
