The Ministry of Culture Opens Collaboration between Hero Films and Women's Congress with Keana Production

JAKARTA - Minister of Culture (Menbud) Fadli Zon opened the opportunity for collaboration with Keana Production to work on a number of cultural programs, ranging from hero films, women's congresses, to children's festivals. The two meetings were held at the Ministry of Culture Office, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 7.

In the discussion, Fadli welcomed Keana Production's plan to enter projects with historical, women, and children themes. According to the Minister, this kind of agenda can be synergized with programs that have been prepared by the Ministry of Culture.

"The plan to produce hero films, women's congresses, and children's festivals can certainly be collaborated with," said Fadli. He said the program could be linked to the Indonesian Talent Management for film making, as well as the Kita Cinta Lagu Anak program for children's festivals.

Fadli also highlighted the plan for the Women's Congress, which was considered in line with the activation of the Mataram Museum in Yogyakarta. The Ndalem Joyodipuran Pavilion, known as the location of the First Indonesian Women's Congress, will be revived as part of the museum.

According to Fadli, the place will not only contain traces of the I Women's Congress, but also the Jong Java Meeting and the artifacts of the Mataram Kingdom. In that way, the agenda of the congress does not stop as an event, but is directly connected to its historical space.

In addition to programs, Fadli also offers funding channels. He encourages Keana Production and other cultural communities to utilize the Indonesia Raya Fund. According to the Minister, access to financing for cultural activists must still be opened even though the geopolitical and economic situation in the world is uncertain.

From the Keana Production side, Marcella Zalianty welcomed this opportunity for cooperation. He hopes that the program prepared will not only be a cultural activity, but also an educational, socialization, and literacy space for the community.
