JAKARTA - The Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) of the TNI Headquarters, Major General TNI Aulia Dwi Nasrullah, ensured that the three TNI soldiers who were injured as a result of the attack in Lebanon received intensive medical treatment at the hospital.

The three soldiers, namely Praka Rico Pramudia, Praka Bayu Prakoso, and Praka Arif Kurniawan.

"Praka Rico Pramudia suffered serious injuries and Praka Bayu Prakoso and Praka Arif Kurniawan suffered minor injuries who are currently receiving medical treatment," said Aulia as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 30.

Aulia explained that they were injured after the Indonesian contingent's assignment post in Adshit al-Qusyar City in South Lebanon was hit by artillery fire on Sunday (29/3).

Aulia continued that two soldiers who suffered minor injuries had received treatment at the UNIFIL Level I Hospital.

"Meanwhile, one soldier with serious injuries has been evacuated by helicopter to St. George Hospital in Beirut to receive further medical treatment," Aulia said.

In addition, one TNI soldier named Praka Farizal Rhomadhon was declared dead in the attack. Currently, the process of sending the body of Praka Farizal is underway with the assistance of the Indonesian Embassy in Beirut.

Aulia continued that the TNI Headquarters still could not explain in detail what the cause and motive of the attack was.

He only ensured that the incident would make his party increase vigilance in carrying out peace-keeping duties in Lebanon.

"The incident occurred in the middle of an artillery exchange and until now it has not been possible to determine which party directly caused the incident. The investigation process is still being carried out by UNIFIL," he said.
