"We want this year's moment to be a positive experience for the community, including the safety and comfort of road infrastructure, rest areas, and officer services," said Ardam in a statement received in Cirebon, Saturday.

He said that since before the homecoming flow began, his company had made various preparations to support the smooth flow of traffic.

According to him, one of the efforts made, especially at the time of the return flow, is to alert 19 units of cranes and 10 units of patrol vehicles at a number of strategic points along the toll road.

In addition, he said, security personnel were also deployed to various locations to help manage traffic and handle emergency conditions.

"We are also optimizing services at eight active rest areas, including functional rest areas at KM 77 towards Jakarta," he said.

He said that currently 1,024 free toilets are provided, adding vehicle parking capacity, and increasing the number of officers to serve road users.

His party also routinely maintains roads and optimizes various facilities, to maintain travel comfort during the Lebaran homecoming and return.

"To anticipate road damage due to extreme weather, we have alerted 11 patching teams complete with material stocks to handle any holes that may appear," he said.

He said that road repairs were carried out by adjusting the weather and traffic conditions, and through coordination with the police so as not to interfere with vehicle traffic.

"In addition, routine inspections are also carried out every day along the Cipali Toll Road KM 72 to KM 188 to ensure that any potential damage can be immediately identified and handled," he said.

Ardam also appealed to road users to ensure that the condition of the vehicle and the physical condition of the driver are in good condition and rest in the rest area if they feel tired during the journey.

Meanwhile, based on traffic data on Saturday, from 00.00 to 15.00 WIB, it was recorded that around 42 thousand vehicles crossed the Cipali Toll Road towards Jakarta.

"This number is lower by about 13 percent compared to the vehicle volume in the same period the day before," he said.
