"The reported felt disturbed because the victim passed by his house using a brong exhaust. At that time, he was scolded by the reporter, but then the perpetrator was emotional and chased the victim to the neighbor's house," said Delni, Monday, March 9.
After chasing the victim, the perpetrator then committed persecution using a parang in the house.
"The victim was stabbed with a long machete. After the victim lay down covered in blood, the perpetrator immediately fled," he continued.
The incident was then reported by residents to the police. Upon receiving the report, the Tempuling Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately conducted an investigation to track the whereabouts of the perpetrator.
The perpetrator was finally arrested while hiding in his father-in-law's house. The police also secured evidence in the form of a machete used in the persecution.
Currently, the perpetrator has been secured at the Tempuling Police to undergo further investigation.
