NTT Police Chief Gives Awards to 46 Inspirational Police: Extraordinary, God's Choice

East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) Irjen Rudi Darmoko gave awards to 46 police officers in NTT who were outstanding and inspiring because they had social concerns for the people in the province.

"I am honestly touched and proud of what the police officers in NTT have done," he said when giving a welcome speech, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 24. This was conveyed at the launch of two books entitled "The Other Side of the Police" and "Srikandi Flobamorata" at the NTT Police Headquarters.

A number of police officers who received the award are police officers who, in their daily lives as police officers, devote time to social matters, such as establishing orphanages, building early childhood education (PAUD), helping to improve people's economy, and others.

Rudi admitted that social things done by his members are not necessarily done by other people.

"Mr. and Mrs. this is amazing. Mr. and Mrs. this is God's choice to carry out this very noble task and cannot be judged," he said.

The NTT Police Chief assessed that the positive activities carried out were hoped to inspire members of the National Police, both in the NTT Police, and members of the National Police in general to do better.

Rudi said that he had ordered all the police chiefs in the NTT Police's jurisdiction to pay attention to and help Polri members in their area who have done positive things for the community.

"I have ordered the police chiefs to support them as leaders and not let them alone, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, it's time to share," he said.

In front of the students, the Police Chief also admitted that there were still many shortcomings committed by his personnel, but slowly the NTT Police was trying to improve it to get better.
