Hamas considers Israel's real world land ownership rules violated in West Bank

JAKARTA - The Palestinian independence fighters, Hamas, condemned the decision of the Israeli government to plan to seize the occupied West Bank by registering it as a state "property".

The registration of ownership rights to parts of Palestinian territory occupied by Israel is considered by Hamas as an attempt to Judaize the land in the West Bank.

Hamas in its statement said the Israeli government's decision was "invalid". Hamas stressed that Israel had violated the rules of the game of land ownership in the world in a tangible way in the Palestinian West Bank.

"This is an attempt to forcibly, forcibly settle and Judaize the area, which is a blatant violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions," Hamas said in a statement on Sunday, February 15, quoted by Al Jazeera.

The Israeli government has approved a proposal to register most of the occupied West Bank as its "property".

This action will be the first since Israel's occupation of the West Bank in 1967.

The proposal was submitted by Israel's right-wing Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Israel's Justice Minister Yariv Levin, and Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz.

"We continue the settlement revolution to control all our land," Smotrich said, according to an Israeli media report, Kan.
