KPK Analyzes the Facts of the Buol Regent's Trial, Former Stafsus Ida Receives 10 Thousand US Dollars and BLACKPINK Tickets

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will investigate every fact of the trial of alleged extortion of the Foreign Manpower Utilization Plan (RPTKA) at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) Central Jakarta.

This was conveyed by KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when asked about the confession of Buol Regent Risharyudi Triwibowo who received money in the amount of 10,000 US dollars or around Rp. 150 million.

The former special staff of Ida Fauziyah when serving as Minister of Manpower (Menaker) also admitted receiving a BLACKPINK concert ticket from the defendant.

"Of course, every fact that emerges in the trial will be analyzed by the JPU (Public Prosecutor). Whether it can then become a new fact for the development of the investigation, we will delve into it later," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 12 night.

This investigation, continued Budi, will be carried out at the same time as looking for the involvement of other parties in the flow of funds from the alleged extortion of the management of RPTKA.

"We will investigate, both the role related to the RPTKA management process at that time or other parties who are also suspected of enjoying the flow of money," he said.

Budi ensured that the re-summoning of witnesses to confirm the receipt of the money and tickets was very open to the possibility if it was needed in the prosecutor's analysis.

During the trial, Risharyudi Triwibowo admitted receiving a number of gifts from the defendant Haryanto, former Director General of Manpower Placement Training (Binapenta).

In front of the panel of judges, Risharyudi admitted to receiving Rp10 million for plane tickets, foreign exchange worth 10,000 US dollars to tickets for the concert of the South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK.

"I took the ticket (BLACKPINK) at that time, put it in the room because I didn't know," said Risharyudi when answering the prosecutor's questions.

Meanwhile, for the 10,000 US dollars he received in 2024, Risharyudi argued that the money was a loan for legislative candidacy.

However, the money was actually used to buy his son a used Harley Davidson motorcycle without official documents, alias fake.

Regarding the purchase of this motorcycle, Judge Member Ida Ayu Mustikawati ordered Risharyudi to return the money worth 10,000 US dollars in cash to the state.

"I don't care, it's motor money. The motorcycle is already stupid, stupid. Brother borrowed money, return it in the form of money. If the motorcycle is worth Rp5 million, Rp10 million, who wants to buy it?" said Judge Ida Ayu.

"Insyaallah I will return it," replied Risharyudi.

"Insyaallah, it must be!" the judge replied in a high tone.
