Prabowo Attended the Kubro Momen Harlah NU Mujahadah in Malang

President Prabowo Subianto attended the Mujahadah Kubro event in commemoration of the One Hundredth Anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at the Gajayana Stadium, Malang, East Java, Sunday, February 8 morning.

Based on Antara's monitoring through the live broadcast of the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel, President Prabowo's presence was enthusiastically welcomed by thousands of nahdiyin who had crowded the location since early morning.

President Prabowo arrived at the location at around 06.50 WIB, accompanied by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa. The atmosphere of service immediately changed to a noisy but orderly atmosphere when the sound of sholawat Thola'al Badru Alaina echoed welcoming the arrival of the Head of State.

In that moment, President Prabowo took the time to walk to the front row to greet the participants. Familiarity was visible when the President greeted the mothers who enthusiastically welcomed his presence with a wave of hands and prayers.

The event was also attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet, including Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Land and Spatial Planning Nusron Wahid, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Also present were a number of charismatic ulama and members of the Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management (PBNU) East Java.

The Mujahadah Kubro which took place on February 7-8, 2026, was the culmination of a series of NU Centennial Harlah commemorations organized by the East Java PWNU. The event is estimated to be attended by around 105 thousand people.

Previously, a series of activities had been initiated with the kick off and Sarasehan Pesantren at the Malang Islamic University (Unisma) on January 7, 2026, the pilgrimage of muassis and muharrik NU throughout East Java on January 24, Hadrah Lailatul Ishari at the Kemayoran Mosque, Surabaya on January 29, and a national painting exhibition themed "Mangsa Kalasubo" at the Surabaya Arts Council Gallery on January 30, 2026.

Other agendas include parenting and healthy pesantren activities held by LKKNU-RMI in a number of regions, including Mojokerto, Jombang, Sidoarjo, Blitar, Bondowoso, and Banyuwangi, which took place from January 27 to February 15, 2026.

In addition, PWNU East Java also held the NUConomic Exhibition, GenZINU Bootcamp, and a talk show on the three pillars of the NU economy, namely MSMEs, philanthropy, and the agricultural industry, in Kampung Coklat, Blitar Regency, on February 5-7, 2026.
