Container Container Loaded 28 Tons Reverted in Jakut Area

JAKARTA - A container unit containing an overload cargo had a single accident until it overturned on the duck bridge, Jalan Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

According to the container driver's statement, the container truck he was driving suddenly lost control while being driven.

"The beginning of the container truck from the north to the south was down the babek bridge, then the container truck was swaying so it lost control and caused a single accident," said a witness at the location.

The incident was then reported to the North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Directorate. Officers who received the report immediately helped evacuate the container.

In addition, Dishub and Satlantas officers of the North Jakarta Police also helped manage the heavy traffic flow around the location due to the accident.

Kasudinhub North Jakarta, Rudi Saptari said, the evacuation process is estimated to take 5 hours because the truck contains 28 tons of cargo. Meanwhile, the large crane unit is only capable of carrying 20 tons.

"The container truck was successfully evacuated using a crane," said Rudi when confirmed, Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Meanwhile, the traffic flow which had been jammed around the location, finally took place and was smooth and normal again.
