BANDUNG - The West Bandung Regency Government (Pemkab) West Java has prepared a budget of Rp. 7.3 billion for handling landslides in Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua District.
The West Bandung Regency Regional Secretary Ade Zakir said the budget was sourced from the Unforeseen Expenditure (BTT) of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for 2026 and was used during the emergency response period for the disaster which was set for 14 days.
"The disaster emergency has been determined by the Regent for 14 days. We have prepared a budget of Rp. 7.3 billion from the BTT," said Ade Zakir as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 29.
He explained that the budget was focused on three clusters of handling victims affected by landslides, namely health, social, and disaster fields.
The health cluster, he continued, is currently coordinated by the Health Office (Dinkes) to accommodate health services for refugees and volunteers, including the provision of medicines and medical equipment.
Meanwhile, the social klaster is handled by the Social Service which is tasked with managing the logistics of assistance, handling refugees, and psychosocial recovery and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) coordinates disaster logistics and other operational needs.
"So we coordinate from treatment, identification of DVI, operational needs of heavy equipment, public kitchen needs, and others," said AdeZakir.
According to him, the determination of the emergency disaster period, including the possibility of increasing the budget, will be evaluated after the 14-day emergency response period ends with the main focus still on the search for missing victims and the handling of refugees.
"Other things are still in process, for example evacuating houses. We are still calculating the exact number, because from the initial data of 158 houses, there is a possibility that houses that are not damaged but are in the red zone," he said.
He added that the certainty of the need for further handling was still waiting for the results of the zoning of the area from the Geological Agency.
Based on provisional data, the landslide in Pasirlangu Village caused 564 people from 164 heads of households (KK) to be displaced. The displaced people were placed in two locations, namely 306 people in the Pasirlangu Village Hall and 258 people in the Pasirlangu Village GOR.
In addition to this, 48 houses were severely damaged which were spread in three areas, namely RW 07, RW 10, and RW 11.
