The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also decided to extend the implementation of OMC for one full month, following the high potential of rain until early February. Pramono revealed that the budget for the implementation of OMC for one month had been prepared together with the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
"The DKI Jakarta government together with the DKI Jakarta DPRD has indeed allocated its budget for a full month. So if it is still needed, we will conduct OMC," said Pramono.
The implementation of OMC itself has started since mid-January and was previously extended until January 27. Pramono said the impact of the operation was quite felt on the weather conditions in Jakarta.
"If this morning at 07.00 we did not raise the OMC, the weather would be different from what we feel now," he said.
