Directorate General of Bina Adwil Emphasizes Real Impact and Acceleration of Aceh in 2026

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Regional Administrative Development (Ditjen Bina Adwil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs emphasized that the implementation of the 2026 program and budget must be oriented towards tangible results, not just administrative activities.

This affirmation was conveyed by the Director General of Regional Administrative Development, Dr. Safrizal ZA, in the Kick Off Meeting for the Implementation of the 2026 Program and Budget held at The Alana Hotel & Conference Center, Sentul, Bogor, on January 14-16, 2026.

Safrizal asked all work units to prepare and carry out data-based activities and field evidence, with a focus on achieving performance indicators (IKU and IKP) and direct impacts on the community. He emphasized the need for program innovation and avoiding work patterns that only revolve around meetings and official travel.

During the meeting, attention was also directed at disaster management in Aceh. Safrizal, who was appointed as the Aceh Regional Coordinator in the Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Task Force in Aceh Province, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 1 of 2026, continues to monitor and coordinate emergency measures and recovery in the affected areas.

This assignment has an impact on the adjustment of the work plan and budget posture of the Directorate General of Bina Adwil in 2026. One of the main focuses is the acceleration of the preparation of the Aceh Provincial Disaster Management Master Plan which is targeted to be completed in March 2026.

The Secretary of the Directorate General of Bina Adwil, Sri Purwaningsih, said that the budget allocation ceiling for 2026 amounted to Rp362,032,974, with a reserve of Rp54.4 billion to support the Presidential Directive Priority. Thus, the effective ceiling managed by the Directorate General of Bina Adwil reached Rp307,534,215.

Despite the budget adjustment, the Directorate General of Bina Adwil is optimistic that it can maintain high performance, looking at the realization of the 2025 budget which reached 99.45 percent of the effective ceiling as of January 14, 2026.

Safrizal also emphasized the strategic role of the Directorate General of Bina Adwil in the development of regional administration, public order and community protection, as well as strengthening the relationship between the center and the regions. This kick-off meeting marked the start of the acceleration of program implementation and procurement from the beginning of the year so that it does not accumulate at the end of the fiscal year.
