Prevent GBLA Membeludak, Walkot Bandung Instructs Camat to Hold Persib Jamu Persija Nobar

JAKARTA - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan has instructed all sub-districts to hold a watch-together (nobar) activity for the Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta match in the continuation of the BRI Super League at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Sunday, January 11.

Farhan said this step was taken to anticipate mass density and prevent the accumulation of Bobotoh around the GBLA Stadium, considering that the match tickets have been sold out for the past few weeks.

"Hey, camat-camat, make sure to make a nobar in all districts. So that the Bobotoh who did not get a ticket does not have to force to come to GBLA, just watch in their respective districts," said Farhan in Bandung, Friday.

He invited all Bobotoh to maintain order ahead of the big match between Persib and Persija, which is known as a classic match with a very high level of supporter enthusiasm.

According to him, the Persib vs Persija match is one of the most anticipated matches at the end of the half of the competition season because it is full of prestige and has the potential to determine the position of the two teams as candidates for the half-season champion.

"Tickets have been sold out for the past few weeks. But Bobotoh need not worry because we have prepared alternative nobars in every sub-district," he said.

In addition to appealing for nobars, Farhan also emphasized the ban on convoys or parades in the streets, both when Persib won and when the results of the match were not up to expectations.

"Win or lose, don't parade. We show that Bobotoh can remain orderly, both in happy and sad conditions, without inconveniencing others," he said.

He hopes that Bobotoh can show maturity as a supporter by supporting Persib in a sporting and responsible manner, as well as helping to maintain the safety and comfort of the city.

"The best support is not only present in the stadium, but also maintaining order. The most important thing is that Persib wins and we support it in the best way," he said.
