5 KPK Investigators from the Police Received Promotions to become Tangsel Police Chief to Kuantan Singingi

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that five of its investigators from the National Police received promotions. They will occupy new positions as Regional Police Chiefs (Kapolres) in a number of regions.

"We congratulate the five KPK investigators who have been promoted to become police chiefs on their new trust, duties, and responsibilities," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo through his statement quoted on Tuesday, January 6.

The five investigators who have new positions are as follows:

1. Boy Jumalolo who was promoted as the South Tangerang Police Chief, Banten; 2. Bayu Anuwar Sidiqie who was promoted as the Situbondo Police Chief, East Java; 3. Dikri Olfandi who was promoted as the Magelang Police Chief, Central Java; 4. Bagus Priandy who was promoted as the Mandailing Natal Police Chief, North Sumatra; and 5. Hidayat Perdana who was promoted as the Kuantan Singingi Police Chief, Riau.

Budi said the five of them were hoped to be able to continue the positive achievements and achievements during their time at the KPK. "Including to bring the spirit of integrity and anti-corruption in their new environment later," he said.

In addition, the assignment of investigators to the new place is expected to strengthen collaboration in efforts to eradicate corruption in the region. Moreover, the KPK always cooperates with other law enforcement agencies in carrying out its work.

"The placement in a number of these regions is also certainly a reinforcement of collaboration in efforts to eradicate corruption in the region," said Budi.

"Moreover, the KPK through its coordination and supervision tasks intensively cooperates with the local government and law enforcement agencies, both in efforts to prevent corruption and in the completion of handling cases of alleged corruption crimes."
