JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia will potentially rain lightly on Tuesday, January 6.

Based on the BMKG official website, quoted by Antara Jakarta, Tuesday morning, said that light-intensity rain could potentially occur in Ambon City, Banda Aceh, Bandar Lampung, and Bandung.

Light rain is also predicted to hit Denpasar, Gorontalo, Makassar, Manado, Medan, Palangka Raya, and Pangkal Pinang.

Likewise, the weather in Samarinda, Semarang, Serang, Sofifi, Sorong, Surabaya, and Tanjung Pinang has the potential to rain with light intensity today.

Meanwhile, Kendari City is expected to be hit by moderate intensity rain.

The public is asked to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Banjarbaru City, Kupang, Merauke, and Tanjung Selor.

Meanwhile, for the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), it is predicted to be sunny.

Meanwhile, the weather in Jakarta, Bengkulu, Jambi, Jayapura, Jayawijaya, and Mamuju is expected to be cloudy.

Cloudy weather is also potentially occurring in Manokwari City, Mataram, Nabire, Padang, Palembang, Palu, Pekanbaru, and Pontianak.
