JAKARTA - The Directorate of General Crime (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police through the Subdirectorate III Jatanras has succeeded in uncovering an international online gambling network (online gambling/judol) operating in various regions of Indonesia. The network is known to manage a number of sites, ranging from T6 to 1XBET.

Director of General Crime of the National Police, Brigadier General of Police Wira Satya, stated that this disclosure was a form of the seriousness of the National Police in eradicating online gambling practices in accordance with the directions of the country's leadership.

"The disclosure of this international online gambling network is a manifestation of the commitment of the National Police in carrying out the orders of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to eradicate online gambling. This crime not only violates the law, but also has a wide social impact and harms society," said Wira Satya in Jakarta, Friday.

He explained that a number of sites that were successfully revealed included T6.com, WE88, PWC (Play With Confidence), as well as the 1XBET website network which is connected to international networks in the Asia, Europe, and Southeast Asia regions.

The disclosure of this case is the result of the development of a police report received by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police from August to December 2025. Furthermore, the police carried out simultaneous law enforcement operations in various areas.

A number of locations raided include Pamekasan Regency, Madura; Tangerang City, Banten; West Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta; to Cianjur Regency, West Java.

During the operation, investigators secured dozens of suspects with diverse roles. They include acting as owners and managers of online gambling sites, financial administrators, providers of operational accounts, payment gateway managers, to parties suspected of being involved in money laundering practices resulting from gambling.

In addition to arresting the suspects, the police also seized a large amount of evidence, such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, savings books, ATM cards from various banks, banking tokens, company documents, four-wheeled vehicles, and hundreds of newspaper accounts.

"In this disclosure, investigators have blocked at least more than 100 bank accounts and are still continuing to develop together with the Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK)," he said.

Based on the results of the initial investigation, the online gambling network is known to have reaped a turnover of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah in one year. Therefore, the investigation not only targets perpetrators in the field, but also traces the flow of funds and assets suspected of originating from criminal acts.

"We do not stop at the arrest of the perpetrators. Investigators continue to trace the flow of funds, assets, and other parties involved, including those involved in money laundering. The entire process is carried out professionally, transparently, and fairly," he said.

The suspects were charged with Article 303 of the Criminal Code, Article 45 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph (2) of the Information and Electronic Transaction Law, as well as Articles 3, 4, and 5 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes. The maximum penalty threat is up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to IDR 10 billion.

In the future, investigators at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit will continue to develop this case, including conducting a forensic laboratory examination of digital evidence and coordinating with banks, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, PPATK, and the Prosecutor's Office to ensure that the legal process runs until it is completed.
