KPK Returns Rp1.53 Trillion in 2025: Achievement Increases 107 Percent!

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said it had recovered state finances of up to Rp. 1.53 trillion. The achievement, which came from fines, substitute money to grants, is said to have increased by more than 100 percent.

"Until November 2025, the KPK has recorded the success of asset recovery from fines, substitute money, confiscated goods, and the determination of the status of use (PSP) and grants reaching IDR 1.53 trillion," said Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto in a presentation of the 2025 performance achievement material quoted on Tuesday, December 23.

"This achievement has increased by 107 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at Rp739.6 billion," he continued.

In terms of seized goods, Fitroh explained that the KPK had recovered state finances up to Rp. 1.02 trillion. "One of them is through the auction mechanism," said the former Deputy Prosecutor of the KPK.

This auction will be held four times during 2025. "That is in March, June, September, and December," explained Fitroh.

The auction results reached IDR 59.2 billion and the highest in the last five years.

In fact, the auction to commemorate World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) on December 9 was greeted with enthusiasm from the public. Thousands of participants are said to have participated in the activity.

"The enthusiasm and euphoria of the people are so felt, about 1,500 participants took part in the bidding process for 176 lots of seized goods that were auctioned simultaneously at 22 State Property and Auction Service Offices (KPKNL) in various regions, including in Jakarta, Jayapura, Jember, Lampung, Makassar, Manado to Palembang," he said.

"This high public participation is a reflection of the efforts to recover assets and corruption cases not only about the return of economic value, but also about public confidence."
