The raid was part of the activities of the Jambi Provincial Food Task Force Team together with the Jambi Police Food Task Force Team which involved elements of Forkopimda, TNI, Bulog, and related technical institutions.

For chili commodities, curly red chili is sold for Rp. 40,000 per kilogram, green chili is Rp. 70,000 to Rp. 75,000 per kilogram, and green chili is Rp. 40,000 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of premium rice was recorded at Rp. 14,600 per kilogram and medium rice at Rp. 12,600 per kilogram. Cooking oil is sold at Rp. 15,700 per liter, red onions at Rp. 40,000 per kilogram, garlic at Rp. 30,000 to Rp. 32,000 per kilogram, and chicken eggs range from Rp. 1,700 to Rp. 2,000 per piece.
Taufik emphasized that the police would continue to carry out supervision to ensure the distribution of basic goods ran smoothly and prevent hoarding and price manipulation.
"We ensure the availability of goods is safe and distribution runs well. From today's monitoring results, there is no significant shortage or price spike. We will continue to monitor so that this situation is maintained," he said.
The Food Task Force also appealed to business actors and traders to comply with applicable provisions and not to take advantage of the momentum of major religious days to raise prices unreasonably.
