Prabowo Checks Road Recovery in Anai Valley, Semangati Workers

President Prabowo Subianto reviewed the restoration of the land route around the Anai Valley, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, as well as greeted and encouraged workers.

At the location affected by the landslide, President Prabowo was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti.

President Prabowo, upon arrival at the location, was immediately directed to listen to the presentation from the Ministry of Public Works regarding the plan to repair and restore the land route around the Anai Valley, which is a national route connecting Padang-Bukittingi.

Not only that, the President also received exposure regarding the improvement of the Padang Pajang-Sicincin road section KM 61+600-KM 67+400, then road access in Malalak.

On the banks of the river near the post, the President then gave instructions to his staff. Around the post, a number of heavy equipment were seen actively dredging and transporting large rocks and other materials carried away by landslides and flash floods.

After that, the President continued to walk towards the operators of heavy equipment, greeted and encouraged them. A number of workers wearing "HK" logo clothing then approached the President to shake hands.

The President also greeted them one by one, while asking about their condition during their duty. The repair and restoration of the land route in the Anai Valley was carried out by the state-owned company "Hutama Karya".

After checking the situation in the Anai Valley, President Prabowo then continued his journey to Minangkabau Airport to return to the TNI AU Air Base (Air Base) Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta.

In West Sumatra, on Thursday, the President reviewed the refugee post and the construction of temporary housing for refugees in Salareh Aia Village, Agam Regency, then continued to check the bailey bridge in Padang Mantuang, Padang Pariaman Regency, and finally reviewed the restoration of the national land route in the Anai Valley.
