BKSDA South Kalimantan, Attorney General's Office Investigate Corruption of PKS Funds

BANJARBARU - The South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Kalsel) is investigating alleged corruption in the management of funds sourced from the cooperation agreement fund (PKS) of a number of companies that are partners in cooperation with the South Kalimantan Provincial Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA).

"For the case at the BKSDA, the status has been upgraded to the investigation stage," said the Head of Legal Information at the South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office, Yuni Priyono, in Banjarbaru, Wednesday, December 17, as reported by ANTARA.

Yuni explained that the focus was on the alleged abuse of authority and embezzlement of activity funds in the period 2021 to 2024.

As part of the investigation phase, the Special Criminal Investigation Team of the South Kalimantan Regional Attorney General's Office today carried out a search action at the BKSDA South Kalimantan Office, Jalan Bhayangkara No C6, Banjarbaru.

The search was to find, find, and secure documents, data, and evidence, including electronic data that has a direct relationship with the proof of the case to strengthen the legal construction in the ongoing investigation process.

Yuni emphasized that the handling of the case was carried out professionally, objectively, and in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations without intervention from any party.

He also reminded that any form of cooperation involving state institutions and private parties must be managed transparently, accountable, and accountable.

This law enforcement step is a manifestation of the commitment of the South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office in supporting the eradication of corruption, especially in maintaining the integrity of the management of state finances and cooperation funds for the realization of clean and just governance for the community.
