MBG Transport Car Hits Students On School Courtyard, DPR Asks SPPG To Be Responsible

JAKARTA - Member of Commission IX DPR RI, Irma Suryani Chaniago, seriously highlighted the incident of a Free Nutrition Food Transport (MBG) incident that hit a number of students at SDN 1 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Irma emphasized that the incident that occurred this Thursday morning was an negligence that must be legally accounted for by the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG).

Because according to Irma, the SPPG concerned was not careful in employing drivers until an incident occurred that endangered students and teaching staff.

"The SPPG that employs this driver must be responsible. The SPPG must be responsible for this incident," Irma told reporters, Thursday, December 11.

The member of the commission in charge of health also asked the Police to thoroughly investigate the accident. Including the feasibility of the driver in charge of bringing MBG to school.

"Drivers must be followed up by the authorities. Do the drivers have a driver or not? The police must really follow up on this case," said the NasDem legislator from the South Sumatra electoral district.

Previously, a car carrying free nutritious food (MBG) hit a number of students who were participating in learning activities at SDN 1 Kalibaru, North Jakarta suddenly excited on Thursday 11 December 2025.

The incident occurred at around 06:30 WIB. The incident was recorded in a video and went viral on social media.

In the circulating footage, the white car enters the field. Several students seemed to be pinched into the under the vehicle. Teachers and other students scattered to help, while one child was seen lying down.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto said, as many as 20 people became victims in the incident of a free nutritious food transport car (MBG) crashing into a number of students at SDN 1 Kalibaru, North Jakarta. Of the many victims, one of them is the teacher at the school.

According to Budi, there were 19 student victims, while one other victim was a teacher from the school.

"20 victims, 19 students and 1 teacher," he said when confirmed by the media, Thursday, December 11.

Budi said that currently the victims are divided into several hospitals to receive treatment, including 5 people at Koja Hospital, 14 people at Cilincing Hospital.

"One person at the Cilincing Health Center and has returned home," he said.
