East Java Police Investigate Alleged Obscenity At Bangkalan Islamic Boarding School

The East Java Regional Police investigated allegations of sexual abuse by a boarding school teacher in Galis District, Bangkalan, by examining witnesses and ensuring assistance for child victims in the initial handling process.

"Today, the examination is scheduled as a witness. It is possible that if the person concerned is sufficient evidence, he can be named a suspect," said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Jules Abast, in Surabaya, Wednesday, December 9, as reported by ANTARA.

He explained that investigators apply the principle of prudence and full professionalism, considering that cases involving minors require special approaches and maximum protection during the legal process.

According to him, investigators continue to collect information from various parties to ensure that all elements of the alleged immoral act can be thoroughly and accurately revealed.

The East Java Regional Police also ensures psychological assistance for victims to reduce pressure and trauma that may arise during the examination.

Furthermore, the institution affirms its commitment to complete the case, including opening up space for additional reporting if other victims and new information from the public are found.

"This case is still in the investigation stage, and further developments will be conveyed after the next examination of the related parties," he said.
