Iran Launches Giant Missile In Oman Sea, Can Reach 2,000 Km Target

JAKARTA - Iran launched a giant missile in the deep Oman Sea on the second day of the country's naval military exercise (AL) on Friday, December 5.

State television quoted from AP reports that Iranian Revolutionary Guards forces launched the missiles from Iran's mainland depth, hitting targets in the Oman Sea and surrounding areas near the Strait of Hormuz in exercises that began yesterday.

The report identified the missiles as Qadr-110, Qadr-380, and Ghadir cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers (km).

The Revolutionary Guard also launched a ballistic missile identified as 303, without providing further explanation.

The television show shows a missile launch and hits its target.

This exercise is the second after the Israel-Iran war in June 2025 that killed nearly 1,100 people in Iran, including military commanders and nuclear scientists.

In the war, Iranian missile attacks killed 28 people in Israel.
