NTB DPRD Gratification Cases: Deputy Chairpersons To Chairs Of Councils One By One Present At The Prosecutor's Office

MATARAM Deputy Chairman of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) DPRD Lalu Wirajaya fulfilled the summons of the NTB High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) investigators to provide additional information as witnesses in the investigation of the alleged gratification case which has named three members of the legislature as suspects.

Wirajaya who was met in the lobby of the NTB Prosecutor's Office after the examination said he came in his capacity as a witness.

"We were summoned regarding the addition of witness statements," he said, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, December 2.

Wirajaya left the NTB Prosecutor's Office Building along with several other members of the legislature, namely Deputy Chair III of the NTB DPRD Muzihir, as well as members of the NTB DPRD Nadirah and Sitti Ari.

Before entering an official car with Wirajaya and Sitti Ari, Muzihir also conveyed the same thing.

"I'm just giving additional information," he said briefly.

Muzihir was reluctant to comment further. He only said that there were still many members of the legislature who underwent similar examinations.

"It's still above, about 15 people," he said.

Apart from them, the chairman of the NTB DPRD, Baiq Isvie Rupaeda, has also completed the examination first.

Head of the Special Crime Investigation Section of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Hendarsyah Yusuf Permana, previously said that the examination had been on a marathon since December 1 by summoning 16 members of the legislature.

"Tomorrow there will be more, just wait," said Hendarsyah.

In the case of the alleged gratification, investigators named three suspects from members of the NTB DPRD, namely Indra Jaya Usman alias IJU (Democrats), Hamdan Kasim alias HK (Golkar), and Muhammad Nashib Ikroman alias MNI (Perindo).

The three have been detained, each in West Lombok Prison and Praya Detention Center. On December 1, the three suspects also underwent further examination with legal assistance. The examination ended at around 17.00 WITA.
