JAKARTA - Former President Director (Director) of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ira Puspadewi expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for using prerogative to provide rehabilitation.

Through his legal advisor Soesilo Aribowo, Ira Puspadew also expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Seskab Teddy Wijaya and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi who were said to be involved in the rehabilitation process.

"Of course, the highest gratitude to Mr. President Prabowo for his prerogative in releasing Mrs. Ira, of course also to Bang Dasco, whom I saw earlier, Mr. Teddy, and Mr. State Secretary," said Soesilo at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25 evening.

Soesilo emphasized that the rehabilitation was shown to be a wrong or illegal legal process against Ira Puspadewi et al. In addition, he said, the rehabilitation was the prerogative of the president with various careful considerations and according to the rules.

"Of course, if the title is rehabilitation, it is a legal process that is wrong or invalid, so that he is given the restoration of his rights and dignity as usual," said Soesilo.

Soesilo ensured that with the rehabilitation, Ira Puspadewi et al would be deleted. "Of course, there will be no more sentences determined by the court," concluded Soesilo.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto has signed a rehabilitation letter for three former directors of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) namely Ira Puspadewi, Muhammad Yusuf Hadi, and Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono. The three of them were caught in a corruption case in the business cooperation (KSU) acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara (JN).
