JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung projects that economic growth in Jakarta in 2025 will be at 5.1 percent. This prediction is said to be in the midst of the projection range of Bank Indonesia.

"Bank Indonesia projects that Jakarta's growth in 2025 will grow between 4.6 and 5.4 percent. We ourselves estimate that it may be between 5.1 percent by average," Pramono said at a press conference at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, November 21.

Pramono explained that Jakarta's economic growth in the third quarter of 2025 was recorded at 4.96 percent. Jakarta's inflation as of October 2025 was also maintained at 2.69 percent, lower than national inflation of 2.86 percent.

Then, Jakarta's open unemployment rate also decreased to 6.05 percent in August 2025 and its investment performance experienced a significant increase to IDR 204.13 trillion.

Pramono emphasized that inflation in Jakarta is still under control and is below the national figure. He said that food supplies and necessities remained safe until November without any shortages in the market.

"Until November, we have never faced scarcity in the market of all products in Jakarta," said Pramono.

In controlling the inflation rate, the DKI Provincial Government has made four approaches, including maintaining food price affordability through subsidized food programs, ensuring supply availability, contract farming, and ensuring smooth distribution.

On that occasion, Pramono also explained the development of the APBD for the 2025 fiscal year which amounted to Rp91.86 trillion and the realization of regional finances in the third quarter and as of the end of November 2025.

Where, regional revenue rose from IDR 62.39 trillion in October, to IDR 68.53 trillion in November, with a realization of 81.15 percent of the revenue target of IDR 84.45 trillion by the end of December.

Regional spending also increased in line with the acceleration of budget absorption. "Regional spending increased from IDR 47.96 trillion to IDR 51.98 trillion or 60.46 percent of the target of IDR 85.97 trillion. Meanwhile, regional financing was recorded at IDR 3.64 trillion. SILPA rose from IDR 18.08 trillion to IDR 20.09 trillion on October 20, 2025," explained Pramono.

Pramono said the acceleration of spending realization is expected to continue until the end of the year because thousands of procurement packages have entered the final stage.

"The increase in spending realization at the end of this year can be ascertained, considering that there are still around 21,631 packages of procurement of goods and the tender process by BPPBJ has reached 95.34 percent. Currently, there is a budget surplus of 14.43 trillion," he added.
