Prince MBS Promises Investment Of Up To 1 Trillion US Dollars In The United States

JAKARTA - Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman said in a meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Room, the White House, his country would increase investment in the United States to reach around $1 trillion.

"I'm sure, the President, today and tomorrow, we will announce we will increase the 600 billion investment to nearly $1 trillion, real investment and real opportunities in detail in many fields," Prince MBS told President Trump at a press conference in the Oval Room. , reported Al Arabiya November 19.

This is in response to a statement by the US President who stated that he would convince the Crown Prince to increase Saudi Arabia's investment.

"I want to thank you because you have agreed to invest 600 billion US dollars in the United States, and because he is my friend, he might make it one trillion, but I have to work on it," said President Trump, earlier.

Earlier, President Trump confirmed Saudi Arabia would get "same enough" F-35 fighter jets owned by Israel, and called the two countries a major ally.

He added that Uncle Sam's country had reached a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia, and could see the civilian nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Prince MBS stressed the normalization of relations with Israel through President Trump's Abrahamic Agreement, only if there is a clear way to a two-state solution with Palestinian independence.
