JAKARTA - The Immigration Office Authority Class II Non Immigration Place (TPI) Meulaboh, West Aceh deported Sebastian Alexander Husemann (47) a foreign national (WNA) from Germany, through Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar District.

"We return these foreign nationals to their country of origin because their activities violate public order while on Simeulue Island, Aceh," said Head of the Class II Immigration Office Non TPI Meulaboh, West Aceh, Jamaluddin, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 10.

According to him, the German citizen was returned to his home country using an Air Asia aircraft with the aim of flying via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"In addition to being deported, the immigration authorities have also prevented the person concerned," Jamaluddin added.

He said Sebastian Alexander Husemann was declared to have violated Article 75 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration as amended lastly by Law Number 63 of 2024 concerning the Third Amendment to Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.

Article 75 clearly states that Immigration officials are authorized to carry out immigration administrative actions against foreigners who are in Indonesian territory, who carry out dangerous activities and should be suspected of endangering security and public order or not respecting or disobeying statutory regulations.

In addition, said Jamaluddin, the deportation of Sebastian Alexander Huemann was also based on the Letter of Deputy Regent of Simeulue Aceh Number: 200.1.3.5/2555/2025 dated October 27 regarding Public Complaints.

In addition, this decision is also based on the letter from the Head of Putra Jaya Village, Central Simeulue District, Simeulue Regency, Aceh Number: 470/270/DJP/2025 dated October 13, 2025 regarding Public Complaints, as well as a statement from the local village head on October 30, 2025.

Based on the results of investigations and investigations conducted by Immigration Officer Class II B Non TPI Meulaboh, the foreign national while in the Simeulue Islands, Aceh also caused trouble, violated public order, and violated local wisdom of the people of Aceh.

Jamaluddin said that his party will continue to carry out the duties and functions of immigration supervision of foreigners in its area of duty, so it is hoped that in the future there will be no more foreign nationals who violate the Immigration Law while in the country.
