Reno And Farhan's Framework Was Found About 2 Meters Away At The ACC Kwitang Building

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto explained that the framework of Reno Syahputradewo and Muhammad Farhan Hamid was in a position adjacent to a distance of one to two meters on the 2nd floor of the ACC Kwitang Building, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

The Regional Police concluded that the deaths of Reno and Farhan were caused by the two of them being trapped on the 2nd floor of the ACC building during the riots in the Kwitang area. The reason is, in the 2nd floor window of the ACC building there is an iron trellis.

"(The position of the corpse) is close between 1 and 2 meters. The two are close together on the second floor," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto to reporters, Friday, November 7, 2025.

The conclusion was revealed from the results of the crime scene and the position where the two skeletons of Reno and Farhan were found.

"At the time of processing the crime scene there was evidence to support that the body was there because it was hit by debris. So we can see if this debris was placed by people after putting the body or in a condition when the incident collapsed," he said.

From the results of the investigation by Polda Metro Jaya, it was stated that based on the building owner's statement, it was explained that the walls and roofs were many materials that were flammable, so they could potentially collapse.

"This was explained by the owner of the building that it was a large roof wall from asbestos or component materials that were easily fragile and collapsed. So this is one of the obstacles when the laboratory conducted a crime scene investigation related to the discovery of hotspots, the cause of the fire because this skeleton is buried by debris and debris," he explained.

Kombes Budi stated that at the post-construction moment, the building almost burned down as a whole so that it could not be used for normal operations.

Then the fire was carried out by fire engines because it was feared that the fire would spread to residential areas.

"There must be efforts made to extinguish the fire because it is feared that it will spread to people's homes. There is (an effort to extinguish it)," he added.

The incident occurred during the riots and the attack on Mako Brimob Kwitang at the end of August 2025.

"Finally, the police should not make the situation worse, we did a defense. But there were many attacks. One of them was a provocation in the building (ACC building), why was the building a point of target because there was a provocation delivered. So that the building became a point of fire," said Kombes Budi.

Meanwhile, regarding the motive for the provocation in question, the police are still investigating.

"We are still investigating this and it is stated by several witnesses who are at the location for us to investigate. After the situation is still being managed by the police, we are trying to normalize the situation for which the public is not worried about carrying out activities or activities. How many steps are there to neutralize it after the riots," he said.
