A local witness claimed to have seen the car parked at the location after Maghrib prayers. "I passed by and saw the car there, but didn't suspect anything. About an hour later, suddenly there was a fire around the car where the victim was burning," said the witness.

Lesong Daya Village Head, Arief Budiatno, also confirmed the incident, but emphasized that the victim was not a resident of his village. "It's true that the incident occurred, but the victim is not one of my residents," said Arief.
