Israel Conducts Organized Terror Campaign Against Palestinian Prisoners' Families

JAKARTA - The Palestinian Prisoners Association (PPS) reported on Thursday that Israeli forces continued to carry out an organized terror campaign against Palestinian prisoners families, especially during the night and early morning raids.

In a statement, PPS said the raid was accompanied by brutal attacks, including beatings, direct fire, use of police dogs and property vandalism.

Israeli soldiers also deliberately damaged and destroyed homes as part of a "price tag" policy that has become a standard practice, often confiscating property and using civilians as hostages to cause fear.

The statement follows Wednesday night's raids that include widespread detention and field interrogation across the West Bank.

PPS described the level of violence as unprecedented, especially since the onset of continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in October 2023, noting that detention campaigns are often accompanied by executions in the field, torture, and serious offenses.

Since the start of Israel's military campaign, PPS has stated that more than 20,500 Palestinians have been detained in the West Bank, including women, children and the elderly, highlighting the central role of arrests in Israel's open war against Palestinians.
