Assets Confiscated From Harvey Moeis And Sandra Dewi Soon To Be Auctioned To Restore State Losses

The Indonesian Attorney General's Office (AGO) has confirmed that the assets confiscated from Harvey Moeis and his wife, Sandra Dewi, will soon be auctioned off after the corruption case of tin commodity trading that ensnared Harvey has permanent legal force (inkrah).

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the move was taken after Sandra Dewi withdrew her objection to the confiscation of a number of assets allegedly from the proceeds of her husband's crime.

In the process of investigation and investigation, the Prosecutor's Office has confiscated a number of assets suspected of originating from the proceeds of corruption, including some belonging to Sandra Dewi who came from Harvey Moeis.

"Against these assets, because they have permanent legal force, the public prosecutor will immediately hand them over to the Asset Recovery Agency for transaction and auction. The results of the auction will later be deposited into the state treasury," he explained.

Regarding the auction schedule, Anang has not yet mentioned the exact time. However, he made sure the process would not take long.

"Hopefully it won't take too long. But in this auction, we also involve other agencies to assess these assets," he said.

According to him, if the auction results are not sufficient to cover state losses, the Prosecutor's Office will collect additional ones from Harvey Moeis.

"Executive prosecutors will carry out tracing assets to find other assets, both on behalf of affiliated parties and those who receive the flow of funds, including if they are with Sandra Dewi," he said.

Anang revealed that the assets that had been confiscated consisted of several luxury vehicles and valuables.

"There are several four-wheeled cars, such as Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, as well as jewelry and several branded bags. The number of bags is tens," he said.

Anang confirmed that there was no confiscation of the helicopter. He also emphasized that not all of Sandra Dewi's assets were confiscated.

"No, I haven't got that information yet. I don't think so. It's just related. If it's obtained before the wedding, it's his," he concluded.
