Yogyakarta Regional Police Prepares PB XIII Cemetery Security In Imogiri

YOGYAKARTA - Yogyakarta Special Region Police are preparing a plan to secure the funeral of the Raja Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat Paku Buwono (PB) XIII at the Mataram King-king Tomb Complex, Imogiri, Bantul, on Wednesday (5/11).

The Head of Public Relations of the Yogyakarta Regional Police, Kombes Ihsan, said that security was prepared on the convoy of bodies from Surakarta, Central Java to Imogiri and in the cemetery area.

"Security involves joint personnel from the Yogyakarta Regional Police, Sleman Police, and Bantul Police," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

According to Ihsan, his party also continues to coordinate with the Central Java Regional Police and the Surakarta Police regarding the planned departure of the bodies from Surakarta and the routes to be traversed.

"We estimate that the bodies will enter the DIY area at around 09.30 WIB," said Ihsan.

He said the group would cross Solo Street, South Ring Road, Gondowulung, Karangturi, East Imogiri Street, to the Mataram King-king Tomb Complex in Imogiri, Bantul.

According to him, the arrival time can adjust the travel conditions from Surakarta.

Ihsan appealed to the public who would take the bodies to Imogiri to maintain order and comply with the officers' directions.

"Stay orderly, comply with applicable regulations, and pay attention to the directions of our officers in the field," he said.
