Residents Say Mobile Land Reports Have Occurred Since Thursday Night

The incident of a shift in land that resulted in a number of houses in the Makasar Village area, Makasar District, East Jakarta, being damaged, has been suspected by local residents for a long time.

Head of RT 08/05 Makasar Village, Zulkifli, said that his party had received reports of land shifts on Thursday night, October 30.

"Initially on Friday night there were reports of shifts on the fence. On Friday we reported to the sub-district via LMK and RW, then immediately responded," Zulkifli told reporters, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

After Zulkifli reported the incident, on Saturday, November 1, a survey was carried out by the relevant agencies.

"On Saturday, the survey was advised to demolish the fence independently. After this work, this is beyond expectations. Maybe because of one field but different walls, finally the pull (when the land shifted), it happened like this," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a number of houses in RT 08/05, Makasar Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta, suffered fatal damage due to moving land.

From VOI's observation, damage occurred to fences, walls and floors that were cracked and destroyed due to the erosion of land shifts in the area.

Even the foundation of the front of the residents' houses, or to be precise, which is on the side of the water channel, was also lifted because the underground part had a landslide.

In addition to being lifted, the foundation of the resident's house at the bottom of the fence was also broken. So that the structure of the wall in the residents' yard was also cracked until it was heavily damaged.
