Complaints From The M02 Driver Whose Trackenness Was Annexed By Jak Lingko JAK41: Often Overdrawn

JAKARTA - The driver of the M02 public transportation, Slamet, admitted that his income has decreased since the operation of the JakLingko JAK41 service (Pulogadung Kampung Melayu). Slamet said, the decrease in income occurred quite drastically from year to year. Especially after the number of fleets and JakLingko stops continued to grow.

"The push for the protest is to increase our income, because of JakLingko, our income will automatically decrease, sometimes our deposits are not closed, sometimes they also lose," Slamet told reporters, Monday, November 3, 2025.

"In the past, at the beginning we didn't protest for what reason, the stop was far away, now the closer it is, sir," he said.

Slamet admitted that he was already overwhelmed with finding passengers. Moreover, the route is also the same as JAK41, Pulogadung Kampung Melayu.

"Moreover, the route is the same, the track is exactly 100 percent, that's how Jak Lingko has added the car," he said.

Slamet said that he and most of his colleagues survived as M02 angkot drivers because they did not have other job options.

"Because what else can we do, people usually we just stay here, it's just regularized. Actually, if there are other alternatives, we want to move like that. But yes, our ability is usually only there," he said.

Even Slamet admitted that he had brought two passengers during one trip from Pulogadung to Kampung Melayu.

"Take home at least if it's good at most Rp. 50,000, if it's good again. If it's bad, sometimes it's even worse for us, it's also a nombok. I've experienced this myself, from Pulogadung to Kampung Melayu, I only get Rp. 5,000. Just imagine, one way," he said.

Meanwhile, a number of M02 angkot drivers and Jak Lingko JAK41 drivers are still parking their vehicles around Jalan Persahabatan Utara, Jalan Balai Pustaka Barat, and Jalan Wisma Jaya, Pulogadung, East Jakarta on Monday, November 3, 2025.

The Jak Lingko JAK41 service (Pulogadung Kampung Melayu) is still temporarily suspended due to protests from the driver of the M02 angkot (Kampung Melayu-Pulogadung).

Several M02 angkot drivers seemed to gather while attaching posters containing demands on their vehicle bodies.

One of these demands is to change the JakLingko JAK41 route so that it does not go through the same route as the M02 microlet.

Meanwhile, a number of Jak Lingko JAK41 drivers were also seen gathering around Jalan Wisma Jaya, near the parked angkot location.

Sutrisno (60), the driver of the M02 public transportation, confirmed that there was no action against the Jak Lingko JAK41 driver.

"There is no (barrier), that (asks for) the corlaps, people from Jak Lingko and Transjakarta to park together from yesterday, not us," said Sutrisno.

According to him, the action carried out by the M02 angkot drivers was purely a form of conveying aspirations related to the route, not an attempt to hinder Jak Lingko JAK41 operations.
