Often Goes Raging While Drunk, Teenager In Bandung Dies Beaten By 2 Biological Brothers

JAKARTA - The Bandung City Police (Polrestabes) arrested two older siblings with the initials DI and BS ganged up to the death of his youngest brother on Saturday, November 1.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Sartono revealed that the incident began with a community report about a victim named Bernadin Prawira who was found dead at his home in Kebonjuruk Village, Andir District, Bandung City.

"After an investigation and investigation by processing evidence, it was found that there was persecution and beating of the victim which caused someone's death," Budi said in Bandung, Monday, as reported by Antara.

Budi said this incident started when the perpetrator was annoyed that the victim often came home in the middle of the night drunk and went berserk at home, triggering persecution.

"Finally, the suspects abused the victim, who is the younger brother of the suspect," he said.

He said the two perpetrators initially confessed to the officer that his sister died of normal things. However, based on the results of the investigation, it was found that the victim was injured as a result of the persecution.

"But we are still carrying out investigations, checking CCTV and it turns out that after it was proven that it was not normal, but there was persecution," he said.

Budi revealed that the perpetrator carried out the persecution using a knife so that the victim died of bleeding.

"Because he used a knife that turned out to be stabbed at the victim, the victim died," he said.

For their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 44 paragraph 3, Article 338 of the Criminal Code, Article 170 paragraph 2 and Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
